The reserves couldn't continue their goalscoring form from last weekend's 7-3 win at Leigh Althletic in the Open Trophy.  Old Alts travelled to Wright Robinson to claim the double over East after they thrashed them 5-1 on the opening day of the season.

The first team continued their fantastic form as they overcame the current league champions, Manchester Grergorians at Platt Lane.  Paul Smith and Jamie Byrne (2) were on target as East went level with Hindsford at the top of the Manchester Premier Division.

Next weekend is the second string's turn to take on Manchester Gregorians at Platt Lane in a bid to get their season back on track whilst the first team travel to West Didsbury & Chorlton.
